Swami Nishchalananda says, ‘Rajesh is my favourite Indian Classical singer who sings not only in Sanskrit and Hindi, but also English and Welsh. His singing is profound in meaning, also inspiring. I would like to share his music with you.’ Here a favourite song with words taken from Mandukya Upanishad
Rajesh David was born in India into a family of singers and trained as a Classical Indian singer himself. His music moves the heart of those who listen to it. Rajesh lived at one time at Mandala Yoga Ashram and still has very close links to it; his concerts there are a delight. He’s released several albums both as a solo artist, and with his Indo-Celt fusion band Tyhai. Here’s a link to that same track from the Mandukya Upanishad as above, but in the chant version.
